The Context

For a school project, a group and I were given an assignment: to film a two-camera interview. The sensible route would be to make a documentary, but we didn't want to be sensible; instead, we took advantage of the fact that our assignment wasn't to film only a two-camera interview, and, inspired by this SNL sketch, we decided to do something crazy: film a parody TV retrospective of an ill-fated '80s detective show in the vein of Knight Rider or Miami Vice.
